On February 6th, 2023 numerous earthquakes and about 317 aftershocks hit the south of Turkey, and the North of Syria, displacing countless and leaving families and children homeless, without food, and in serious need of medical care. As of now, almost 33,000 children and adults across both countries have passed away as shown by  CNN . The earthquake was at about 7.8 magnitudes following aftershocks of about the same magnitude.  How are the people who survived? Well, although there were thousands of innocent lives that have passed from this tragic event, the ones who survived because of the tireless work of firefighters and other rescuers, have been extremely grateful thanking both the rescuers and god himself.
