If you don't know what is happening this is for you. This post is going to be about: Palestine and their cry for help. This is what is happening in Sheikh Jarrah right now. The Israeli government has decided to allow Israeli settlers to move into Palestinian homes, which means they are forcing people to move out of their homes they have had for generations, they are colonizing their homes and displacing them making them homeless. They have made appeals to Israeli courts to keep their homes, but Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem do not have equal rights, and their appeal will most likely be thrown away. Because of this Palenstanains have been doing peaceful protests so that there is support for their families. Because of these protests Israeli forces have been attacking, shooting, and killing innocent people, that are fighting for their rights. Israeli have also attacked Al Aqsa mosque, which is the 3rd holiest site in Islam, and now they are attacking Gaza. As of today, 21 people...

India's second wave

Image
If you don't know what is going on this is for you. This post is about : India's cry for help because of the biggest covid outbreak in the world. India is experiencing the worst covid outbreak in history, they have just hit 17 million cases, and have about 300k+ new cases every single day. New Delhi has recorded an equivalent of 1 death every 5 minutes because of covid.  India's healthcare system is overwhelmed at its max because of the main reason of relaxed protocol There is not enough hospital bed, oxygen, or ventilators. . The infections and death rates are 2-5x. Places like America are privileged enough to get the vaccine quickly, but less developed countries like India don't have this privilege.  Take the story of Rajeshwarie Devi : Devi was 58 and died on Sunday after waiting for 2 whole days to get uninterrupted oxygen, an ambulance, and a bed in a covid - 19 hospital. She was waiting and trying as hard as she could to get as much air as she could, but by the t...

Victim blaming in Pakistan

Image
If you don't know what is going on this is for you. This post is about:  " Imran Khan criticized for rape 'victim blaming' "-BBC Pakistan's prime minister, Imran Khan, was in a live interview and was asked about what steps his government had taken to prevent sexual abuse. He was shutting down the allegations against women and children, he said that this sexual violence was because of "increasing obscenity" and that "in any society where vulgarity is prevalent, there are consequences." He is justifying rape, by the clothes women wear. Not only is he blaming women for being raped, but he is also blaming their clothing choice as a way to justify men, for their vile actions. He believes that women in Pakistan should take away "temptation" just because "not everyone has will power". He is letting the oppressors go and blames the victims as if it were their fault, which it never was and never will be.  This is not the first t...

Hijab ban in France.

Image
If you don't know what is going on this is for you. This post is about : "French ban on full-face Islamic veil violates human rights " Muslims have been oppressed for years, but France has taken it too far. The French Senate just banned girls that are under the age of 18, along with mothers joining their kids on school trips from wearing hijabs to school. The French propose to ban girls under the age of 18 to wear a hijab, although the proposal still has to go through the national assembly, this ban in the first place is a complete violation of basic human rights as a whole.   Just to understand how bad this really is, western countries like France are forcing women to take off their hijab. The hijab is part of their culture and religion, it is how Muslims show modesty. This is not only a form of control it is a anti-Muslim hate. They are forcing minor girls (under the age of 18 makes you a minor) to become vulnerable and be forced to reveal their bodies against their wil...

Hate crimes against Asians

Image
If you don't know what is going on this is for you. TW: killing, abuse, unjust, sexual desires.  This post is about how: "Anti-Asian Hate Crime Crosses Racial and Ethnic Lines "      Asians have been hated on for centuries, but now it is worse than ever, after COVID 19 people have been blaming Asians for it, calling it the "Kung flu" or "the Asian flu" as a form of blaming them for the virus. But even before COVID 19 people have been making fun of Asians and physically abusing them in countless ways, such as pulling the side of your eyes as a way to mimic Asians, and make fun of them, pushing them into trains, killing them with no remorse or reason just plain hatred, and even hurting elderly people just because they are Asian. They have also stereotyped them in hurtful and biased ways such as calling them "yellow Asians" [Europeans have referred to East Asians as white up until the 18th century. But in the 19th century, this perception slowl...

The death of Sarah Everard and how it impacted the world.

Image
As you might have heard of what is going on and if not this is for you. This post is going to be about how  Sarah Everard's Death Set Off a Movement Her death was an eye-opener to thousands, about the sexual abuse towards women. She was killed allegedly by a police officer, this vile action caused thousands of women and men to stand up for what was right.  Sarah Everard was a 33-year-old woman who did everything "right". She called her boyfriend, she didn't wear "revealing" clothes, she did what everyone told her she should do to stay "safe", but that was not enough. Because she never came home on March 3rd, 2021. Late last week her death was confirmed, this death was the last straw.  Women have been sexually harassed for a long long time, globally around 97% percent of women have been sexually harassed in some way, be it in the form of rape, unwanted photos, inappropriate touching, catcalling, sexual abuse, or being forced to do things that they d...

About alltimes

Image
Hi my name is Saleena Rattani, this is my new blog called "alltimes". When I originally thought about this blog, I thought of it to help our younger generation, to be educated about our world and their place in it.  Whenever I go on the news I always see it in very complicated terms that are unnecessary, this doesn't educate the younger generation, nor does it benefit them. So the point of this blog is to help simplify the world problems, and where they can sign up for a petition according to the topics they are passionate about, that be racism, sexism, politics, or even the environment. This blog is here to help. The petitions are here so that you don't have to personally go and find the petitions you are passionate about, it is all in one place. As for the information, this is going to be weekly updated to keep everyone in the loop of the world. This website could potentially help educate the older generation as well and I am elated if it does.  The main use for th...
